On 25-26 of October, 2010, in Kiev,  Ukraine, The Lausanne Regional Meeting for the evangelists from Eurasia, willing to join the movement, took place.

In June, 2011, in USA, Boston, the meeting of the Lausanne Directors Board, summarizing the results of the Cape Town Congress, took place. .

Meetings that have taken place recently laid the foundation for the regular Lausanne consultation «Moscow-Eurasia 2011» which will be held in Moscow, on 6th of December, 2011.

We invite you to The Lausanne Consultation
«Moscow-Eurasia 2011».

Understanding responsibility of evangelism in the quickly changing world we are concerned with a spiritual transformation of nations and peoples in Eurasia, including Russia. We have to fulfill the task of not only understanding last decades of Evangelistic efforts, but also formulating practical steps of fulfilling God`s will in our region in the next decades.

Main objectives of the consultation are to:

•          analyze Evangelistic experience in Eurasian states;

•          comprehend and interpret the Cape Town Commitment and lay down a new foundation for Christ`s cause in Eurasia.;

•          get down to active project actions in Christ-centered development of Eurasian region.

There are the following topics for breakup groups during the consultation:

1.       How to witness about Christ`s truth in global pluralistic world.

•          Truth and Personality;

•          Truth and Public Spheres, World of Art;

•          Truth, Science and High-tech;

•          Truth and City, Workplace, Environment and Community;

•          Truth and Family, and Children.

2.       Mass-media as a global mission tool.

•          Truth and Mass-Media;

•          Communication as means of Christ-centered world development;

•          New journalism — social networking;

•          Virtual body and Global mind vs Church and Conciliarism.

3.       How to bring Christ`s peace into divided and brоken world.

•          Epoch of Late Capitalism: justice and the Truth;

•          Religion and Publicity;

•          Liberal and Traditional set-up of State: collisions in realm of law.

4.       Collaboration in Christ`s body for unity and service.

•          One Body, One faith: inter-confessional dialogue;

•          From confession to ethnos, from networking to movement: communities or complicated systems;

•          Leadership and innovative management as ministry tools.

5.       How to reveal love of Christ to people of different faith.

•          Clashes of civilizations, inter-confessional dialogue;

•          Ethnic, national and cultural right to believe and Christ`s peace;

•          Mission in the world of other religions.

6.       Call to the Church of Christ to turn to humility, purity and simplicity.

Consultation format:  plenary sessions, work in breakup groups with project decision formulating.

Church, missions and Christian organizations` leaders working in Russia and Eurasia, propagating the Good news in spheres of arts, sports, business, politics, ethics, sociology,  religion, etc, authors of innovative technologies and all those who are searching for the answer to challenges of contemporary society are invited to participate.

We plan to invite the following foreign guests:

•          Lindsey Brown — International Director for the Lausanne movement;

•          Blair Carlson – the Cape Town Lausanne Congress Director;

•          Os Guinness – writer, social critic, co-founder of leadership development project «The Trinity Forum»;

•          Ole-Magnus Olafsrud – European representative of «Navigators», Norway.

The consultation will be held in Moscow, 6-7 of December, 2010, in hotel «Izmaylovo» complex. Registration starts on the 3d of October, 2011.

Cost for participants (for those who stay in The Izmaylovo Hotel 6-7 of December, 2011) – 3600 roubles. The cost includes registration fee, accommodation cost, food: on 06/12/11: lunch, dinner, tea; on 07/12/11: breakfast, lunch, tea.

Cost for those who only come to the event and stay elsewhere – 2600 roubles. The cost includes: registration fee; food: on 06/12/11: lunch, dinner, tea; on 07/12/11: breakfast, lunch, tea.
